Description
WHAT IS A BOC-3?
BOC-3 stands for Bureau of Compliance Form #3. The BOC-3 consists of a roster of agents who have consented to serve as receiving agents on behalf of their respective states.
Should your company become embroiled in a legal case as a DEFENDANT, these agents will accept documents on your behalf and subsequently transmit them to you for necessary follow-up. This form is among the mandatory documents to be electronically submitted to the FMCSA by all interstate brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers.
WHO NEEDS TO FILE A BOC-3?
Every newly established transportation company is required to submit a BOC-3 before commencing operations within the United States, regardless of whether they intend to function as a motor carrier, broker, or freight forwarder. All MC/FF/MX accounts filed with the FMCSA need a BOC-3.

WHAT STEPS ARE WE TAKING FOR YOU?
We’ve streamlined the filing process for you!
Upon obtaining your MC number, you can initiate the filing request. Filings submitted during regular business hours are typically processed within 24 hours. We electronically submit the BOC-3 to the FMCSA, and once completed, it reflects instantly in their system. Subsequently, we generate a BOC-3 form containing your details and forward you a copy for safekeeping.
BOC certifications expire annually on June 30th.
