Revoked: FMCSA Removes ‘ALL-WAYS TRACK’ ELD

Motor carriers and drivers who use this ELD listed must discontinue using the revoked ELD and revert to paper logs or logging software to record required hours of service data.

Motor carriers and drivers using All-Ways Track ELDs have 60 days to replace them with compliant ELDs.

On March 27, 2023, FMCSA removed another ELD from the FMCSA’s Revoked Devices list.

The All-Ways Track ELD was removed due to the company’s failure to meet the minimum requirements established in 49 CFR part 395, subpart B, appendix A.

This is the fourth ELD FMCSA has removed from the list this year.

ELD Name: All-Ways Track
Model number: AWT01
ELD Identifier: AWTELD
ELD Provider: ALL-WAYS TRACK, LLC.

What happens now?

Motor carriers and drivers who use this ELD listed must discontinue using the revoked ELD and revert to paper logs or logging software to record required hours of service data.

Then, carriers should replace the revoked ELD with compliant ELD from the Registered Devices list before May 26, 2023.

If carriers and drivers continue to use the revoked on or after May 26, 2023, they will be in violation of 49 CFR 395.8(a)(1)—“No record of duty status” and drivers will be placed out-of-service.

If the ELD provider corrects all identified deficiencies, FMCSA will place the ELD back on the Registered Devices list and inform the industry and the field. However, FMCSA strongly encourages motor carriers to take the actions listed above now to avoid compliance issues if these deficiencies are not addressed in time.

What is the best ELD?
